I can tell you right now, that's why I defend the African American community having Janet's back because I work for Jet Magazine, I work in their music department. And I gotta tell you, most of the magazins giving Janet such crap usually arent usually "R&B lovers" like EW, The Guardian, and Pop Matters. theres a few others too. But I have noticed that Essence, Ebony, Jet, and Rollingstone has been really cool about Janet in the last year. Hell Rolling Stone predicted that in the right hands Discipline could've been the biggest album of 08. But it's ok, everybody knows Janet always pulls it back together. Hell ONLY with herself promoting it,and quitting the tour after 2 months, Janet's tour was still #4 in the most successful R&B tours of 2008 her FIRST one that wasnt #1 in R&B touring charts and pop. I think she's gonna be fine. But we all KNOW, she deserves this title.

Always rember, before control there was dreamstreet. And before this next masterpiece, it'll be Discipline.

Actually Make Me peaked at #4 on the Itunes R&B charts and stayed in the top 10 for 2 weeks (imagine how it's going to do now that they are releasing it to radio, R&B stations are going to jump all over it)

Aww you Mariah lambs and your lies. Actually Obsessed peaked at #11 ON THE POP charts. It peaked at #12 on the R&B charts. After 4 MONTHS it hasnt even touched the Itunes R&B top 10 charts or the Radio R&B charts lol, pathetic. IN YO FACE.

When did Lady Gaga start doing R&B? Sorry but you still seem to think this is some kind of pop contest. It's R&B. And Rihanna is just walking in Janet's path, she didnt break ANY of Janet's records, (nor did Lady Gaga). Sorry but Im going to keep being honest about Mariah.

Honestly, I don't understand why Janet gets so much flack!! She debuted at #1 with 182K sold first week! That's HUGE for an artist that

1. Didn't promote till after a week her album released
2. Released in February! Not a good month to released music

and she sold more then any of the people that released the same day as Mairah. Yet Entertainment Weekly calls Janet a flop and says all kind of harsh things about her yet when Memoirs dropped 168K isn't a bad number? Give me a fucking break!! People are playing favorites too much!! but when something happens to an artist (Death) they're the first to give their eulogy on how great they were.
